Quality of Service Testing
Modulation quality analysys is just one of the aspects of the overall quality of any DVB-T/H signal. Quality of service parameters such as error performance, signal consistency (i.e. referred to TPS information), or contents analysis are many times handled by specialized instruments.
DBA adds most of the QoS functionality and it does it with complete correlation with modulation quality performance and transient characterization capability. Full TPS information is displayed by DBA and analysis parameters may be automatically set to reflect the TPS contents if desired.

TPS information is fully decoded so consistency can be checked. Analysis settings are automatically set when desired.
Error Analysis
Error rates before and after Viterbi and PER (Packet Error Ratio) are shown if required so correlation with events like clipping is easy.
Transient Characterization
Errors can be shown as a function of time so QoS behavior on transients triggered by time, frequency, or modulation events, can be established.
TR 101 290 Compliance
QoS parameters are measured following the TR 101 290 DVB guidelines so perfect repeatibility and traceability is obtained.
