Solve your digital broadcast analysis needs
The DBA analysis tool allows the digital broadcast design engineer and network
technician to easily add all the required modulation quality and quality of service
capabilities to their Tektronix Real-Time and Portable Spectrum Analyzer. The DBA analysis tool combined with the extraordinary spectrum analysis, transient capture, and frequency
mask trigger capabilities of the Tektronix RTSA architecture will result in the perfect tool offering all the measurement capabilities required to fully characterize and
diagnose any digital broadcast transmitter without requiring any extra tool. The built-in
Transport Stream extraction capability along with the Tektronix MTS4SA closes the
loop allowing for content analysis and complete cause-effect analysis.
DBA offers a set of capabilities needed to characterize digital broadcast signals such
as:
Measurements may be performed over live signals allowing for the interactive
measurements environment involved in equipment alignment and adjustments or over
recorded data so triggered captures may be analyzed off-line.
The DBA software can be run in any Windows based PC but it has been tailored to
run right in the target instrument if desired. The display can show up to 4 simultaneous analysis windows and can be easily handled with a mouse and the
RTSA embedded keyboard.
